Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) represent a group of disorders that seriously affect the heart and blood vessels, and they are a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. These diseases can result from various factors such as abnormal lipid metabolism, hypertension, inflammation, and genetic predisposition. To better understand the pathogenic mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases and develop effective therapeutic drugs, GemPharmatech have established a variety of cardiovascular disease models. These models include those for studying dyslipidemia, atherosclerosis, thrombosis,hypertension, heart failure and cardiomyopathy. These models provide valuable platforms for pre-clinical drug development, thus offering hope for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
